Dale was established in the early 1970’s and operates out of 50000 square feet of factory and office premises built on a freehold site of nearly 3 acres. In the early days Dale became renowned as “problem solvers” to the UK deep mining industry. Since then this capability has been put to the test in various industries providing design and manufacturing solutions for demanding conditions throughout the world.

Additionally through its Subcontract Engineering arm Dale has a long history of supplying quality machined parts through to fabricated assemblies. Furthermore Dale has earned a well respected reputation in other areas of industry for designing and manufacturing specialised products through its Special Product Development division.

Dale now has nearly 40 years experience in engineering with a diverse range of products in use throughout the world such as with Subsea Templates in the Caspian Sea, Mining Machinery in Sardinia, Swaging Machines in Azerbaijan, Oil Rig Handling Equipment in the Gulf of Mexico and Lock Gates in South Wales etc.
